What’s up, everyone? Welcome to today’s episode of Vik’s Picks and Parlays. We’ve got Thursday Night Football, and we’ve got the NBA going on today, so we got a fun little card. We’ve had a good week so far, so let’s see if we can keep this going. First, let’s get to football,

Thursday Night football, we’ve got the Dolphins against the Jags. Now, I know on paper that looks like a stinker, but I like both of these teams. Minshew Magic is fun to watch and the Dolphins, they have a nice little defense and they’re improving, so I do have an official pick for the game: I love the under tonight.

I’m going against the public a little bit, under-49, if you look on DraftKings, FanDuel, local off-shore or whoever your guy is, you should be able to find 49, so take the under. Traditionally, Thursday night football, especially the first halves, go under because it’s a short week.

I also think that the crowd advantage is going to be minimal tonight, and the price is a little over inflated, we’re going to get probably a slow half, and then some action in the second half, but I have this down at about 45-46 in my notebook after running it through some systems, so give me the under tonight, I think that’s my favorite pick of the day when it comes to the NFL.

Shifting over to the NBA a little bit, I like the Nuggets again. If you guys listened to this on Monday, I took the Nuggets plus the points, I took the Nuggets on the money line, just because, again, resilient team, they’re not scared. That’s kind of the biggest thing. They’re not intimidated by the Lakers, LeBron AD.

So, I’ll take the points and again, sprinkle a little of the money line, I do think they take this series, it’ll go to seven, and so if they lose, they’ll have the Lakers right where they want them down 3-1. But no, I think they’re going to hang around; this one is going to be down to the wire.

So those are my two favorite picks for today, the under-49 in the NFL, you got the Nuggets plus-6 in the NBA. If you’re looking for some parlay action, I would probably look to Jaguars minus-3 and the under in that game, or you can definitely parlay the under and the NBA pick.
