Jeff is going to defer to our experts Vik and Joey about the over for tonight’s game. The game total is 39.5 and the first-half total is 20 and both Vik and Joey like the over in both spots. If they think there is going to be offense tonight, it’s almost certainly going to lean hard to the Jets’ side of the ball.

If the field is going to go overweight on defenses and kickers – which is the norm in Showdown slates with low totals – the way to be courageous with our Captain is to use either a quarterback or wide receiver. My two favorite captain options tonight are Jamison Crowder and Noah Fant. Jeff is likely to also play both quarterbacks, in the hopes we get the offensive production that leads to potentially 42 points via six touchdowns.

Jeff expects the PPR aspect of the scoring and the six-point TD-reception total over the four-point passing award to be critical. If we were to stack the passing attacks, Jeff’s first adds would be Chris Hogan and KJ Hamler. He expects Jerry Jeudy and Braxton Berrios to be popular plays, so Jeff will go with the super-speedy Hamler to take the top of the Jets’ secondary for a score and Hogan to get more targets than Berrios, who should lose targets with Crowder back.
