Welcome to our Weekend Cleanup post, where each week I’ll review my gambling picks from, you guessed it, the weekend. Sometimes I’ll lose, but hopefully I’ll win more often. Remember, to always #trusttheprocess. Either way, remember to check back here weekly for my recap. So, let’s jump into it!

Week 3 was another great one! I went 3-0 ATS, hitting on New Orleans Saints +4.5, Baltimore Ravens +6, and the Over 41 in the Chicago Bears-Washington Redskins game.

The Saints game went exactly as anticipated. Alvin Kamara had a monster game and Teddy Bridgewater filled in perfectly to lead the Saints to a victory. The public overreacted to Drew Brees being out and the market over corrected. Wish they were all this easy.

Win No. 2 was on the opposite spectrum. An all-game sweat. Luckily for us, the backdoor was open in Kansas City, and the Ravens took advantage. Baltimore covered late on a Lamar Jackson touchdown scramble. Sources say chants of “Lamar” could be heard as far as a block away of my house after that late score.

While the Bears-Redskins game was boring watch, the Over helped complete my betting trifecta with an early fourth-quarter score from Case Keenum. Not only did my Bears win, but they helped me win some money. Is there a better combination than that for a sports fan/ gambler?

Lastly, my Survivor pick came through, with the Minnesota Vikings dismantling the Oakland Raiders from the jump.

It wasn’t a perfect week though, as we did lose our weekly fun two-team parlay. While the Carolina Panthers +3 won straight up, the Denver Broncos sputtered late to cost us the big payday

All in all, it was a green week, and green is good! Two good weeks in a row…”pretty, pretty, pretty good!” as Larry David likes to say! But, like we said last week, it is a long season, so it is time to do it all over again.

I’m already back on the grind. My early leans for this upcoming week are:

Cleveland Browns +7. Division game and the look ahead line was closer to Ravens -3.5 Definitely an overreaction caused by the Browns abysmal showing on Sunday night. Also, looking at the Buffalo Bills +7, who always play the Pats close at home.
