DraftKings Serves Up Offer On Hot Dog Contest

It began in 2007, when Joey Chestnut relished his first Nathan’s Hot Dog Contest title on the Fourth of July on Coney Island, and now DraftKings are in on the action. Where once the great Kobayashi plated title and after title, the past 13 years have seen Chestnut take down 12 Nathan’s titles.

Now, on Saturday at noon ET on ESPN, Chestnut goes for the Baker’s Dozen. And DraftKings Sportsbook has a deal for all its users to chew on.

Last year, Chestnut won his 12th title by consuming 74 hot dogs, so can he eat 75 on Saturday? DraftKings is boosting his odds to +200 and inviting everyone to take a bite.

Following Opt-In, participants will be issued one single-use Odds Boost for Joey Chestnut to eat over 74.5 Hot Dogs. The original price was +140, but DraftKings is boosting this price to +200.

Bettors must select the boost in their betslip BEFORE placing the bet and boosted odds bet must be placed on an individual bet slip. Max bet is $50 and there is one qualifying bet per user.

The promotion excludes live bets, parlays, free bets, cash out bets, voided bets, and odds boosts. Participants must be in Colorado or New Jersey.

DraftKings will also be offering a $25,000 free-to-play pool where users will select answers to questions based on what they think will happen during the hot dog eating contest.
