Another great week in the NBA has begun, and today we have some very exciting matchups that promise to deliver an interesting evening of basketball when some of the best face each other on the court. Three fan-favorite teams are scheduled to play tonight and are all set for the tip-off.
Nets Showing Strength
Two of the best teams that have shown consistency lately will now have to face each other when the Brooklyn Nets play on the road against the Dallas Mavericks. The latter are still recovering from a lot of NBA injuries that have affected the team so much that they have experienced one of their toughest stretches this season.
While some of the key players for the Mavs are still questionable, the Nets have shown that they can continue to dominate after coming off a loss and are highly motivated to get the win at Dallas.
Pick: Brooklyn Nets to win the game.
Knicks Need Some Magic
San Antonio has a big challenge upcoming as they host one of the most dangerous opponents in the east in the New York Knicks. The Knicks are going through a very rough three-game losing streak that could increase to four against the Spurs, who are going to bring all the firepower to stop them and get the win on their home court.
Before losing to the Phoenix Suns, the Spurs had a four-game winning streak, beating tough opponents like the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trailblazers, which shows that they have what it takes to bring down some of the best in the league. The Knicks need desperately to get back on the winning side and will do everything possible to accomplish that against San Antonio.
Pick: New York Knicks to win the game.
Lakers Looking to Advance
One of the most iconic matchups in NBA basketball is all set when the Los Angeles Lakers play the Boston Celtics at home to continue their quest to move up in the standings as both teams have struggled recently due to injuries and inconsistencies that have brought a cloud of uncertainty upon them.
The Lakers are in a very compromised position since they found almost no success without their star, SF Lebron James, who is now back with his team but finding a lot of trouble getting them back on the winning side. They’re hoping he can lead them to a victory against the Celtics and improve on their 12-12 record.
Pick: Los Angeles Lakers to win the game.
