Despite Washington’s troubles, this game is closer than most might expect. Arizona is getting the advantage, naturally, but not by much. If the Nats can find a way to get Jake Irvin out of his slump on the mound, they could actually win. However, that isn’t likely, and the Diamondbacks will continue to find success.

Blue Jays Host the Astros

The Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays continue their four-game series tonight after Houston annihilated Toronto in Game 1. The final was 11-4, causing the Blue Jays to try everything they could to recover.

The Astros are currently second in the AL West, slightly behind the Texas Rangers. They’ve won seven of their last 10 and are hoping to build on last night’s success.

The Blue Jays have had some difficulty this season, now sitting one spot from last in the AL East. However, they’ve also won seven of their last 10 to find some new energy and motivation to turn things around.

Despite last night’s performance, the Astros are the underdogs tonight. Before that game, Toronto was riding a four-game winning streak and some will assert Monday’s game was a fluke. The Blue Jays will turn things around tonight and get back on track.
