Upcoming NFL Games Offer Mixed Opportunities

Upcoming NFL Games Offer Mixed Opportunities

Week 8 of the NFL is about to begin, and the main contenders to reach the Super Bowl (and also those who are not) will seek to improve their luck during this weekend that will offer very interesting duels between teams that already have a serious tendency to delimit what will be their fate for the rest of the season.

The Rams are looking to attack the Texans

The season has not been looking bad for the Rams, who managed to pull off a very difficult game against the Detroit Lions. Of course, the Lions have not won a single game so far this season, but they are definitely a tough opponent. All in all, beyond the team’s level of play, what stands out about the Rams is their ability to pull out tough games late and the appearances of their stars, such as Aaron Donald, Jalen Ramsey, Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp.

On the other hand, the Texans are within a foot and a half in the group of teams that have thrown away the season almost completely in less than ten weeks. They are not showing a competitive edge. Although they physically dented an all-powerful Arizona team, they could not avoid suffering from the Cardinals’ offensive onslaught and fell by more than 30 points. Deshaun Watson has to get in tune with this team if he wants to pull it out.

The favorable betting is on the Rams, who despite having complications and a game that is not convincing, are a much more solid team than the Texans. The odds are -14.5 for an Over/Under of 47.5, so there is no doubt that they are the most beneficial bet.

The Bears want to scratch the season away from the 49ers

Another team that is presenting many doubts, are the San Francisco 49ers, who, despite being favorites against the Bears by the main bookmakers, do not stop having serious disconnections in their game that make fans doubt if they will ever see the best version of Elijah Mitchell or Brandon Aiyuk. Trey Lance will have to work very hard not only to get this game out of the way, but the entire season.

On the other hand, Justin Fields is still having a hard time putting on the starring jersey with the Bears and that was clearly demonstrated when both he and Allen Robinson could not dominate Tom Brady at any point in the game, which by the way, almost no one can do it. Still, some look better than others in that aspect. At least they are counting on the emergence of Khalil Herbert to shed some light on this bad beat.

Regardless, the most recommended bet is to go with the 49ers, who are counting on -4 for an Over/Under for 39.5 overall. However, it is not unreasonable to think about going with the Bears, since this is one of those games where anything can happen.

The Bills want to upset the Dolphins

Along with the Texans and a few other teams, we can add the Miami Dolphins, who you can definitely say have thrown the season away. They are a defensive sieve and present little hope of turning around a ship, which is drifting with more haste, with each passing week of the regular season. Despite the talent of Tua Tagovailoa, it should be noted that this team is coming up against a very inspired Bills at the worst possible time.

In Buffalo, things are going very well, as their offense is one of the most solid in the league, and these Dolphins are a tough out for a team that offers everything but defensive security. It is definitely time for coach Sean McDermott to bring out all his talent and take advantage of the best of Devin Singletary and Josh Allen.

The sportsbooks have the Bills as the favorite, which will be the team to bet on at -13.5 on an Over/Under of 49.5. They are the most solid and promising bet and one of the easiest games to predict all week.
