Breakdown:

This showdown is also being dubbed Phil-Tiger II since Mickelson and Woods played head-to-head on November 23, 2018 at the Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada. If you remember, Mickelson defeated Woods at that time.

While Woods has been dealing with some back issues, he did declare that he would’ve been healthy for The Masters, had it not been cancelled.

When it comes to the battle of the Quarterbacks, they are pretty close to even, although Manning does have a slightly better handicap. Manning is listed as a 6.4 index while Brady is at an 8.1.

From everything I’ve read and heard, it looks like Brady is the better long ball hitter aka driver while Manning has the better short game.

Who knows how much these guys really have been playing during these crazy times, but word on the street is that the Lefty has been playing 36 holes a day to prepare for this matchup. Combining that with some of Tiger’s health issues, I’m leaning to throw some money down on the Mickelson-Brady combo rather than the Tiger-Manning one. Seeing as these two sides are pretty even, the +175 looks juicy.

I also saw that you could bet on if there will be extra holes or not. The odds are +400 for yes. I might sprinkle some money on the yes at that number.

In both Tiger-Phil I and the TaylorMade Driving Relief skins game last week, extra holes were needed to decide the outcome. With both of these sides being so evenly matched, 4-1 feels like a solid plus-money play.

If you have been longing for live sports or are just looking for something to bet on this weekend, this is it. Considering the competitors suiting up for this event, it should be entertaining, regardless of who wins.

That’s it for our golf picks and parlays today. Good luck and stay safe!
