NBA Daily Picks Sep 1: Take Under In Jazz-Nuggets Game 7

I’m glad the NBA is back from its second stoppage, because the quality of basketball this bubble season has produced has been great. We get two more great NBA games tonight on Sep 1, both I anticipate coming down to the wire so makes our picks pretty interesting.

NBA Daily Picks Sep 1, 2020

While I’ve been a little cold with my NBA picks lately, the only way to turn that around is to trust the process, and know that in the long run the analysis will prove profitable.

After doing my research and breaking down the card, here is one bet that sticks out to me for tonight:

Denver Nuggets-Utah Jazz under 220

I grabbed this picks for Sep 1 right when I saw it because I love NBA Game 7 unders. In fact, if you’ve bet every Game 7 under since 2003, you’d be up some good money. The under is 28-19 (59.6%) ATS in Game 7s in that timespan.

While the public is on the over big (70%), the sharps seem to agree with me, as the total is dropping in a number of books right now. This indicates reverse line movement on the under, which is something I’m always excited about.

I just don’t see the hot shooting keeping up by both squads, as everyone should tighten up a little big for Game 7. Call it big game nerves, tired legs or just guys locking in on defense, but either way, this game will be different.

Look for a grinder of a game with possibly a buzzer beater type ending by Donovan Mitchell or Jamal Murray. That would be the only fitting end to an otherwise terrific series.

So, there’s our short and sweet NBA picks for Sep 1, going to be a close call tonight, but I think it’s the right call.
