Heat On Their Way

In Game 3 of the ensuing NBA playoff series, the Heat will try to make the Philadelphia 76ers fall in a three-game hole. A Sixers team without star center Joel Embiid suffered another blowout loss in their last matchup. The Sixers must win against the No. 1-ranked Heat, which is seemingly impossible.

The Heat have a chance to win the series and take away any remaining Sixers hopes. They could sweep the series and could be in a strong position to face the winner of the epic semifinals match between the Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Embiid’s eligibility for the contest is still unknown. He may not be able to play due to a thumb or face injury, but it’s impossible for us all know how effective he will be. It is known that Kyle Lowry was upgraded to questionable. This means there is a good chance that he will play in this game.

The Heat are comfortably the better team in this series. They’ve won and covered five out of seven meetings against the Sixers, and aren’t slowing down.

Suns Continue to Outplay the Mavs

After a win over the Mavericks in Game 2, the Phoenix Suns are now aiming to go up 3-0 in this series. Devin Booker scored 30 points by making five 3-pointers. Chris Paul had 28 points and eight assists, while Jae Crowder contributed 15 points, seven boards, and three assists.

The Suns shot a stunning 64 percent from the field, and 13 of 25 from 3-point range as a team. They were in foul trouble early on and trailed by halftime. However, they won comfortably in the second half with 71-49.

To limit Luka Doncic’s hunting, the Mavericks could try some things like using more zone and pre-switching actions earlier. We are now at the point where Dallas must throw the kitchen sink at Phoenix for trying to give him unorthodox and different looks.

After winning the first two games, the Suns are confident. However, they also know that things will get more difficult as the Mavericks’ role-players need to step up. Although it’s difficult to argue against the Suns, the Mavericks need better production from Brunson and Kleber. Doncic is on fire.

It will be a closer match, as the Mavericks will give a better effort. The Suns have been 13-3 ATS in 16 of their last 16 meetings in Dallas. The Suns are on fire, despite oddsmakers deeming this game a push.
