Thursday Night NFL Props: Seahawks vs. Cardinals

Thursday Night NFL Props: Seahawks vs. Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks get Week 11 in the NFL going with an NFC West showdown on Thursday Night Football. This marks the second game between the conference rivals with Arizon taking victory the first time around.

That loss sent the Seahawks into a bit of a slide, losing three of their last four games heading into this rematch. On the flip side, the Cardinals have been on a tear lately which was capped off by last week’s insane game-winning TD by DeAndre Hopkins.

Here, we’ll be going over some of the more tempting prop bets for this matchup in the hopes of starting off week 11 with some coin in our pockets.

Russell Wilson OVER 0.5 Interceptions Thrown (-110)

Ok, I realize that Wilson has been fantastic overall this season and is even in line for an MVP push down the stretch.  However, Wilson has also been a bit careless with the ball and has developed a bit of an interception issue.

Not only has he thrown at least one INT in six of his nine games so far this year, but he also coughed up a trio of picks against the Cardinals in Week 7.

The Cardinals have to be credited of course with those picks as they have played very well on defense this year, intercepting at least one pass in three of their last four games.

Again, this is not a knock on Wilson overall, it’s just his proclivity of tossing picks this year has grown a bit, and I’m willing to bet it continues tonight.

Russell Wilson OVER 2.5 TD Passes (+110)

Despite my feeling that Russ ends up lobbing up an interception tonight, he’s still been playing stellar football and I expect a strong overall performance tonight.

After months of MVP caliber play, Wilson has come back to earth a bit but that still leaves a lot of talent on the field for Seattle.

He’s had to, in recent weeks, try and make up for all the issues his team has on defense or with their lack of offensive balance which has nearly eliminated their run game.

Wilson has done well to make up for his team’s shortcomings and tonight will be yet another game in which he will need to step up.

I’m not too worried about his zero TD game against the Rams, his first of the year.  LA has a very good defense and if any team has a chance to blank an MVP caliber player, it’s them.

Despite his 3 interceptions against the Cardinals last time out, he did throw for 388 yards and a trio of touchdowns and tonight could be a similar outing.

Wilson has thrown three or more TDs in each of his last four home games and with a lot on the line, I’m betting he does it again.

D.K. Metcalf to score a TD (-135)

This bet is a waver on Metcalf to bounce back after being held without a score last weekend.  So far in 2020, any game that Metcalf has failed to score has been followed up by a game in which he does find the end zone. In fact, he’s followed up each of his scoreless games with not one but two touchdowns.

While a pair of scores might be a bit much to expect, a single touchdown against the Cardinals is certainly in the cards.

I’m sure he will also be looking to make up for his two catch, 23 yards came against the Cardinals last time out.

Patrick Peterson will likely be shadowing out boy tonight, much like last game, but I think D.K. gets the best of him this time around. He will have his work cut out for him but will be ready to remain the focal point of this passing offense no matter what and I’m willing to bet he breaks a least one reception and takes it to the house.
