NFL Playoff Props: Bet Henry, Williams To Find Paydirt

NFL Playoff Props: Bet Henry, Williams To Find Paydirt

With just one week of games remaining before the Super Bowl let’s make the most of our NFL Conference Championship playoff props and snag some winners on Sunday.

NFL Playoff Player Props

Damien Wiliams AND Derrick Henry each score a touchdown -125
Sunday’s first game on the schedule has a betting total of around 52 points right now which should translate into plenty of scoring opportunities for both teams.  The key here is to pinpoint who has the best shot at crossing into the end-zone for their teams.  I think that both of these guys will have a number of such opportunities and feel good about this prop at the given odds.

First up for our playoff props in the NFL this week is Derrick Henry who really burned us last week after failing to score a touchdown.  Sure he still ran for 195 yards but his only touchdown was of the passing variety and unfortunately, that just didn’t work for our purposes. I have not lost faith in him however, he did almost manage 200 yards and had the play-calling been different, would have certainly scored a TD of his own. Helping him along will be the Chiefs defense who have been less than spectacular against opposing backs this season.

All in all, they have allowed the eighth-most rushing yards and 15 total touchdowns to running backs lining up against them.  But to be honest, that won’t matter all that much.  Henry has been a beast so far this year and has gotten his numbers no matter who he is lined up against.  The Ravens, for example, were a top-ranked rushing defense and Henry just came of short of 200 yards on the day against them.

The Chiefs’ struggles on the ground will only help this prop cash sooner than later.  Henry has rushed for almost 2,000 yards on the year and has 17 touchdowns since the season kicked off.  He is the driving force of this offense and has amassed 64 carries over the last two weeks of play which is a good sign for this weekend and his usage.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs are touchdown favorites, which would indicate that Damien Williams will be in line for a significant amount of work, especially if KC takes an early lead. He has averaged almost 5-yards per carry on the year while the Titans have allowed around the same to opposing rushers.  Coming off a week which saw him earn just 12 carries and 47 yards might be concerning, but remember, he scored twice off of those 12 carries and scored off a passing play as well.

I think both teams do a lot of work on the ground early and hopefully, we can cash this bad boy before halftime and enjoy the rest of the game with some extra funds in our account.

George Kittle OVER 77.5 receiving yards vs Green Bay Packers

Tight end George Kittle has perhaps been the 49ers biggest breakout star over the last few seasons with a rookie of the year win in 2017 and setting the single-season receiving yards mark for tight ends in 2018.  This season has been more of the same with Kittle showing the league just how dangerous a talented TE he can be, which is why he is next for our NFL playoff player picks this week.

Kittle has gone over 78 yards receiving in three of his previous three games, including 86 yards against a stingy Seahawks defense. He has really become Jimmy Garoppolo’s safety blanket and that bodes well for his early usage on Sunday as this game is expected to be pretty tight. This game going down at home is a big plus for my faith in Kittle as well, as we have seen at least six targets in every game this year at Levi’s Stadium and also had five straight 80-yard performances there before the egg he laid last weekend vs Minnesota.  I’m willing to forgive and forget that 16-yard performance for one specific reason.  Kittle wasn’t really needed and therefore was left out to block and draw attention from the secondary.  I have no doubt that had the 49ers needed him to step up given more targets he certainly would have.  As long as Kittle sees six or more targets again this weekend then I think he has a strong chance to flirt with 100-yards on the day and cash this ticket for us.
