DraftKings Offering Up Contests For NFL Draft

DraftKings Offering Up Contests For NFL Draft

Although the pickings for sports gambling action may be limited right now, sportsbooks have been able to come up with some pretty creative alternatives.  It’s been hard on everybody as the entire world was rocked by the coronavirus, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. This has led to DraftKings offering up contests for the NFL Draft.

Apart from several sports leagues across the globe getting back into gear, such as Germany’s Bundesliga, new targets for sports gambling fans are being offered, such as the growing world of eSports.  These may not yet have the staying power that the NFL, MLB and NBA held, but it’s a step in the right direction.  To help whet everyone’s appetite, and help sports gambling fans remember what placing bets feels like, DraftKings is ready to offer some additional incentives to bettors in the upcoming NFL Draft.

Time is running out, though, and gamblers need to start making their final preparations now.

Take Part In DraftKings’ NFL Draft Pool

The draft will take place next week from Thursday to Saturday, and will be an interesting change from how previous drafts have been held.  Almost everything will be handled remotely with team representatives hunkered down at home, connecting via videoconferencing equipment to carry out the selections.

In order to make things even more interesting than they were already going to be, DraftKings has a free-to-play NFL Draft Pool taking place.  This is an outstanding opportunity for everyone, including novice sports gamblers, the pros and even fantasy sports fans.

DraftKings describes the contest like this, “Pick the correct answers by the start of the 2020 NFL Draft on 4/23 at 8pm EST for a shot at this guaranteed prize pool! NFL Draft official rules and outcomes from NFL.com will be used to determine the correct answers. Trades are only counted towards totals if they occur after 8pm EST on 4/23. All prizes will be distributed at the end of the first round. This pool allows 1 entry per person.”

DraftKings Ready To Give Away Money To Its Users

Despite the revenue crunch felt by virtually everyone, DraftKings still wants its users to know that they are at the top of the pyramid.  In order to show its appreciation, the company is giving a profit boost on any NFL Draft market option that DraftKings Sportsbook has available.  Each user is entitled to use two 20% profit boosts with their wagers.

The benefit is open to both existing and new users.  Once completing the opt-in on the site, if not already done, the user will be issued two single-use profit boosts that are eligible to be used on any of the NFL Draft markets.  The boost has to be selected on the betslip in order for the boosted price to be applied.

The bet has a maximum of $25 and the boost can pay out as much as $250 additional money per boost.  Live bets and parlays are included, but cash out bets, free bets, voids and odds boosts are out of the lineup.

If a bettor were to choose, for example, Chase Young at +2000 to be the first person picked in the draft and make a $25 bet, he or she would pick up the initial $500 should Young be selected first.  On top of that, though, the gambler would earn an additional $100.  Not a bad way to pick up some extra spending money to use once the COVID-19 lockdown comes to an end.

Place Your Bets

As mentioned, there’s a window within which bets can be made.  Having the time needed to analyze the NFL prospects and the possible draft selections shouldn’t be a difficult task right now, so don’t delay.  The NFL Draft will be here before you know it.
