Daily Picks Dec 4: Bucks To Keep Rolling

Daily Picks Dec 4: Bucks To Keep Rolling

We’ll kick of our daily picks for Dec 4 with two NBA teams with very mixed records will meet up, and it won’t exactly be a balanced game.  The Milwaukee Bucks are 18-3, while the Detroit Pistons are 8-13, and the Pistons – whether they want to admit it or not – have to be worried about how things are going to go.  The Bucks have won 12 straight games, the most of any team in the league this season, and has two wins with margins of over 40 points.  Milwaukee is on a roll and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.

Having MVP Giannis Always Helps

It doesn’t hurt that the team has MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo on its side.  He appears to be getting better each year he’s in the NBA and has a complement of teammates around him that are driving the team’s success.  Tack on a two-time coach of the year, Mike Budenholzer, and the perfect storm of talent emerges to drown the competition.  The Bucks are playing like a team with a purpose, but are having fun at the same time.  A win tonight is a sure bet online.

With a little bit of luck, D’Angelo Russell will be back in for the Golden State Warriors when they take on the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina.  At this point, they need all the help they can get, even against a relatively weak team like the Hornets.  The Warriors are 4-18 this season, not finding enough balance as they try to figure out a new strategy.  Fortunately, there’s always next year.

The Hornets aren’t doing too much better.  They’re sitting at 8-14 with a defense that simply hasn’t been organized.  They’re also below average when controlling the ball and are ranked 26 with 105.4 points per game.  Devonte’ Graham and Terry Rozier have been fundamental in carrying the team this far, but the Warriors have had enough.  This is expected to be a tight game, and many believe the Hornets will come out on top, but the Warriors are going to shock everyone.

More Dec 4 Picks….

For the third of our picks for Dec 4, the Miami Heat are coming off a three-game winning streak as the head to Boston and a game against the Celtics.  They’ve been on fire lately, reaching a 15-5 record, and want to keep the run going.  If they want to do it, they’ll have to figure out how without Goran Dragic, who is out due to a groin injury.

This is a tough game between two tough teams.  The Celtics are 14-5 and have some seriously good talent on the bench.  Kemba Walker averages 21.6 points per game and Jaylen Brown is putting up 18.9 points per game.  Both teams are strong in conference action and neither team is going to be able to run away with the ball.  However, when the dust settles, the Heat will have brought the fire and taken the win.

The Orlando Magic are on the back end of two straight games when they meet the Phoenix Suns tonight, but this is almost the only bad thing they have going for them.  They beat the Washington Wizards last night, although the Wiz was playing without center Thomas Bryant, and are ready to pick up another win.

The Magic may not have the strongest offense in the NBA, but they have the ability to stay strong throughout the entire contest.  The Suns, on the other hand, have often started to fall apart with minutes left to play and this could be where they stumble tonight, as well.  Aron Baynes won’t be in for the Suns, which won’t help, and Ricky Rubio is “probable.”  Orlando wants its third straight win, and this is most likely to happen.
